about
This was a track that I spent a little over a year writing. I enjoyed the process of creating syncopated guitar parts where melodic and lead bits would ping-pong between the left and right side. To me it makes for an interesting dynamic and can get somewhat groovy here and there.
Drums are also something I have a lot of fun putting together, and since MIDI allows it to be a "visual" process it's a lot easier to structure weird signatures together without it being jarring.
As fun as it was to make, I'm fully aware that my mixing and mastering skills are awful. I learned a lot of the basics, but still managed to come out with a messy mixdown. But whatever - it's more satisfying to put it out there rather than tinkering with it for another nine years.
Also, I'm not a huge fan of my own voice. So if you've got problems with it, join the club.
This is the first step in me making what I can with what I've got. It isn't the start of me trying to become well-known or anything - it's just a personal project that I enjoy doing and look forward to keep doing.

lyrics
The fever reaches in, all that’s left becoming engulfed.
Will torrid suffering be what kills, or be the hand that drags one from his hope?
Hate leaves one's existence void.
The sad suffocation of joy.
Typhoid and swans; everything shares a source.
The fever of the dawn.
When words fall decrepit on the ear, distant is one’s heart to the call.
The twilight sings an elegy, dissolves, and disappears in the dust.
Hate - the pale desertion of self-reward.
A finite struggle to kill the foe.
The endless torture repeats ad libitum, ever downward.
Hate leaves one's existence void.
The sad suffocation of joy.
Typhoid and swans; everything shares a source.
The fever of the dawn.

Next level Ep, can't wait to hear the next Full Length!!! We can definitely hear the Beyond Creation sound mixed with another identity, sounds beautiful! William Biron
Inferi is technical melodic death metal perfection!
I hope to see them play "Thy Menacing Gaze" live in 2024 or 2025. That song would open the pits!! fastdoublebass10000
